Email verification
Why we ask for a code, what to do if it doesn't arrive.
After you sign up, Pegasus sends a 6-digit code to your email. You must verify the email before you can sign in.
Why we verify#
- Prevents fake-account spam.
- Confirms you can actually receive the email used for account recovery.
- Required for team invitations to find your account by email.
Code details#
- Length: 6 digits, numeric only.
- Expiry: 10 minutes from the moment we send it.
- Single use: once you verify successfully, the code is consumed.
- Resend cooldown: after sending a code, the "Resend" button is disabled for a short countdown to prevent abuse.
