Feature gates
Which features depend on plan or workspace entitlement.
Feature gates decide which capabilities appear or run in a workspace.
Current gates#

Advanced model availability is still tied to the evolving model catalog. If a model is not visible in the selector, use the default model or ask the workspace owner.
How gates appear in the UI#
- A disabled button or tooltip when your plan cannot use the action.
- An upgrade prompt for API tokens.
- A "Not included" label in the Subscription feature card.
- A blocked request if a direct API/PAT call attempts a gated action.
Team context matters#
In a team workspace, the team's entitlement and your assigned seat can matter more than your personal plan. Always check the Subscription page while switched into the workspace where the action failed.
