Copy & citations
Save responses, and what we plan to do about source citations.
Copy a response#
Every assistant message has a small Copy button in the action bar below the message. Click it to copy the full text to your clipboard.
Toast feedback:
- Success: "Copied to clipboard"
- Failure: "Could not copy" — usually because the browser blocked clipboard access. Select and copy manually.
What gets copied:
- The visible answer text.
- Markdown formatting (lists, code blocks, headings).
- Inline code stays as code.
What does NOT get copied:
- The bot's thinking process, even if expanded.
- Streaming partial states (you can only copy after the response finishes).
Citations#
We're actively working on this. Check back soon, or contact your workspace owner for the latest status.
Pegasus does not yet surface document citations alongside answers. The roadmap calls out citation/source provenance as a known gap. When implemented, each answer will link to the specific document chunks the bot drew from, so you can verify and trace claims back to source material.
For now, if you need to verify an answer:
- Ask the bot "which document did you base this on?" — models trained on document-aware system prompts often answer correctly.
- Use Max Mode for questions where source-fidelity matters — its Extractor agent emits verbatim quotes, which makes verification easier.
Sharing a response externally#
There is no built-in "Share link" for a conversation today. To share an answer:
- Copy the message text.
- Paste it into your email/chat/document of choice.
Conversation URLs (e.g. /workspace/{convId}) are private to your account and require sign-in.
