Forgot password

If you can't sign in because you don't remember your password, reset it via email.

1. Open the forgot-password page

   On the login screen, click Forgot password? under the password field.

2. Enter your email

   Type the email you signed up with, then click Send reset code.

3. Check your inbox

   If the email is registered, we send a 6-digit reset code. It expires in 10 minutes and can be used only once.

   For privacy, Pegasus shows the same message whether or not the email exists. Don't treat the message as confirmation that the account exists.

4. Enter the code and a new password

   Open the reset screen, paste the code, type your new password twice (minimum 8 characters), and click Reset password.

5. Sign in with the new password

   Pegasus redirects you back to the login page. Use the new password.

Common issues#

• "Too many reset requests" — you've requested too many codes recently. Wait several minutes and try again.
• "Invalid or expired reset code" — the code was used, expired, or mistyped. Click Request a new code to start over.
• Code never arrived — check your spam folder. If it's still missing, the email may not be registered; sign up instead.

If you can sign in but want to change your password proactively, use Change password inside Settings.
