Personal vs Team
Two workspace types, one mental model.
Every Pegasus account has at least one Personal workspace — created automatically when you sign up. Some accounts also belong to one or more Team workspaces (you join via an invitation). The workspace switcher in the sidebar lets you move between them.
What changes when you switch#
When you switch workspace, Pegasus re-scopes everything:
| Surface | Personal | Team |
|---|---|---|
| Bots visible on Dashboard | Only your personal bots | Team bots (Private, Shared with me, or All depending on your role) |
| Conversation history | Only conversations you created in personal | Only conversations created in this team |
| Usage analytics | Your personal usage | The team's usage (filterable by member if you're owner) |
| Subscription | Your personal plan | The team's plan and seats |
| API tokens | Bound to personal | Bound to this team |
Switching does not delete or hide anything — it just changes which slice you're looking at.
Bot sharing in a Team#
Bots inside a team can be Private (only the owner sees them) or Shared (every member can chat with them). The owner controls this from the bot detail page.
If a teammate shares a bot with the team, you'll see it on your Dashboard with a "Shared" badge. You can chat but you can't change settings, sources, prompts, or widget — those belong to the owner.

Personal workspace can't be deleted#
It is created automatically and cannot be removed. If you leave a team, your Personal workspace stays intact with all the bots you created in it.
When to use which#
- Personal — solo projects, experiments, your own knowledge base.
- Team — shared knowledge across colleagues, shared subscription seats, shared analytics.
