Accept a team invitation
How to join a team workspace from an emailed invitation.
To join a Pegasus team, the team owner sends you an invitation by email. Clicking the link in that email accepts the invitation and adds you to the team.
Open the invitation email
Subject line will reference the team name. The button or link points to
/team-invitations/....Click Accept invitation
You land on a page titled "Team invitation" with an Accept invitation button.
Sign in if needed
If you're not signed in, Pegasus asks you to sign in with the exact email that received the invitation. If you don't have an account yet for that email, sign up first.
Confirmation
After acceptance, you see "Invitation accepted — your team workspace is ready." Click Go to dashboard.
The invitation is bound to the email it was sent to. Signing in with a different email will not let you accept it. If the wrong email received the invitation, ask the team owner to cancel and re-send to the correct email.
What happens after you accept#
- A new entry appears in your workspace switcher under the team's name.
- The team's seat counter increments (one seat is now used by you).
- You can switch to the team workspace immediately and start working.
If the invitation has expired#
Expired invitations show "Could not complete the team invitation." Ask the team owner to resend the invitation from Team Management → Invitations.
Reserved seats#
While an invitation is pending or assigned, the team's seat is reserved even though no one occupies it yet. The team owner sees this on the Team Management page as " reserved by active invitations".
